Psych-Folk Rock Quartet 'Suzan Kocher 's Suprafon Premieres New Single "Hlavní Nádraží"!
With Poisonous Ivy Suzan Köcher's Suprafon is premiering the next singleHlavní Nádraží from their upcoming album Suprafon, due out November 8, 2019 via Unique Records!
A live show in Prague left a lasting impression on Suzan Köcher's Suprafon. Not only the band's name is borrowed from the legendary Czech record label - a five-part song cycle also emerged from the visit. The slightly weathered beauty of the city is a perfect symbol of the band's music. After the trip, the musicians wrote new music about their days in the golden city, which now fills the second page on the upcoming album.
The Suprafon-Suite describes a day in Prague - from getting up, walking down into the city, and an evening performance in an old cellar club. The new single Hlavní Nádraží is an ode to the city. On their way to the city centre, the band passed the beautiful old Prague Central Station, which provided the inspiration for the song. While the people who built the original station a long time ago have all died, the building still raises its head to the sky. The people come and go, stay only for a few moments in the magnificent building and no one knows exactly where the others will end up. The new song is based on this melancholy - the lyrics are in English despite the Czech title.
