Psychedelic Groove Rock Trio Nazca Space Fox Premieres New Album "Pi" in Full!

For people who don't know, Nazca is a region and city in the center of the coast of Peru. Very close to Pisco, city where the Peruvian national drink was created: the brandy, Pisco. It my may be tasty to sip it while listening to the new Nazca Space Fox album Pi, out this friday on Tonzonen Records! Today we are honoured to premiere the full Pi album via the renowned Stoned Meadow Of Doom channel!

Clearly, the band name reflects their musical orientation. The famous Nazca lines are seen by some as evidence that the desert might have served as a landing place for the space ships of unknown origin. The Nazca region stands for the Stoner and Desert Rock influences in the music of Nazca Space Fox, while the alien legends around the Nazca lines point to the more Space Rock oriented pars of the music.

Pi was recorded in several live sessions and now German trio Nazca Space Fox has now reached the place where they feel most comfortable: Between big melodies, loud, groovy riffs and fragile sound parts. The 6 tracks on Pi are more structured and focused than before, yet improvisation was given enough space to unfold. The basic instruments speak for themselves: drums, guitar, bass. Groovy and powerful. Light and fragile. Post-Rock merges with Stoner & Psychedelic.

Pi will be available on limited edition vinyl, CD and digital from Tonzonen Records on September 27, 2019.
