With new video single Surfin' Around Saturn psychedelic kraut quartet The Sun Or The Moon continue where they left off with their last album Cosmic.

The new single, out today on Tonzonen Records, has the band's typical pleasant relaxation and lightness. Over a hypnotic, repetitive drum rhythm, joined by a driving bass groove, the band layers an abundance of percussive, wafting and pulsating synthesizers, pearly guitar arpeggios and a free-floating organ that cannot be clearly located in this world or the next. Over the atmospherically dense sound carpet woven in this way, a journey around the second largest planet of our solar system is sung about: "Surfin' around saturn on a saturday night" - or in other words: Saturday Night Fever in a completely different way...

The Sun Or The Moon hail from Mainz and have been in existence since 2019. With their debut album Cosmic, released in 2021 on vinyl, CD and digital by Tonzonen Records, the band has impressively underlined that Krautrock has long since ceased to be a disrespectful generic term, but rather a seal of quality. Shortly after their chilling trips through time and space undertaken on Cosmic, The Sun Or The Moon have recorded another hallucinogenic sound pearl with the song Surfin' Around Saturn. To bridge the time until the release of their second album Andromeda, which is also planned for early summer 2023 on Tonzonen Records, the band has decided to release the song in question as a digital single with accompanying video.
