PsychoWard Unleash Their Highly Anticipated Album, "Committed" today
Steeped in the rich history of rock 'n roll, PsychoWard, fronted by the dynamic John 'Wardi' Ward, is set to unleash their full-length album, Committed, today. Hailing from the UK, Wardi's journey through the 80s in L.A., during the heavy metal heydays of Hollywood, saw him collaborating with legends like Slash, Madam X, and Hurricane. His former band, Shame, even enjoyed management under Gene Simmons until 1992. Transitioning to the UK during the rise of grunge in the states, Wardi continued recording and touring with Oliver Dawson Saxson.
In 2015, Wardi's musical odyssey led him to Spain, where fate intertwined him with six-string virtuoso Miguel Angel Lopez Escamez, igniting the inception of PsychoWard. Miguel, renowned for his contributions to legendary Spanish bands of the 1980s, has graced over 50 recordings with his guitar prowess, collaborating with artists like Edge Of The Blade, Rowan Robertson, Gene Allen, and Dave Marshall.
Backed by the formidable lineup of Wardi, Miguel, PsychoWard bassist Gonso, and drummer Tony Montana, the imminent release promises to be a seismic eruption of classic heavy metal. Committed boasts 11 tracks and captivating artwork by Arkham Artwork.
In collaboration with Battlegod Productions, PsychoWard unleashes Committed into the world on this very day, January 12, 2024. Brace yourselves for a sonic journey that transcends time and genre boundaries.
