“ I remember writing Coors and wanting the guitars to cut through like a Hot Mulligan record so bad.. So having it end up in the hands of Chris Freeman is just such a cool fucking thing to me.

Signing with Hopeless still hasn’t actually set in for me I think. I tried to tell my family that I signed a record deal and they’re like “Cool! But like, what’s that mean?” For me it’s like.. I’ve spent the past few years doing all of this alone, just keeping my head down and trying... So it’s just really sick to see so many people excited for this song I made and to have a family like Hopeless behind it. “
