Rarity Premiere New Single/Video "Drown Me Out" Through Kerrang!

Hamilton-based rock act Rarity have released a brand new single with accompanying visuals. Watch the official “Drown Me Out” video on YouTube or through Kerrang!’s exclusive premiere now. You can also stream the track via your preferred platform.

“Drown Me Out” is taken from Rarity’s forthcoming sophomore full-length, The Longest Lonesome, set for release on August 30, 2019 on New Damage Records. The band has a limited 7" of previous singles, “Shawinigan,” and “I'll Come Around” available for purchase at the New Damage store.

Starting off quickly in 2014 with their debut Alive In Your Eyes EP on Rise Records, Rarity hit the road. They then went right back into the studio with Derek Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends) and Derek Discanio (State Champs) to churn out their first LP, I Couldn’t Be Weaker. Touring with the likes of Silverstein, State Champs, Emarosa, Vanna, and more, the band quickly developed a devoted fanbase and are ready to take on the world with The Longest Lonesome.

Rarity on “Drown Me Out”: “Drown Me Out” is about preserving the things that make you happy despite having to deal with recently deceased loved ones and the end of other projects that you found solitude in. Channeling your negative emotions and turning them into something positive. Those important things in your life may be gone but that doesn’t mean you can’t create something beautiful despite the absence of what used to make you happy.
