Rattlesnakes Announce New Album “Shadows in the Night”

With their wrath - filled riffs, powerhouse growls and our sweat dripping, head - banging, intoxicating live shows, RATTLESNAKES are a Nottingham based heavy metal band that even the most faithful companions cannot resist a night with. Their sound cuts with the sharp steel of the 80's NWOBHM, and a modern twist of speed metal prowess. RATTLESNAKES continues to break through stereotypes while maintaining the heart and soul of true heavy metal, paving the way for female fronted bands of the 21st century and being an inspiration to many.

Their highly anticipated debut album “Shadows In The Night”, is set to release on the 30th of October 2026 on Listenable Records.

The band comments :

“'Shadows In The Night' has been in the making for quite some time, if you take into account the songwriting process as well as the recording process. I think I speak for us all when I say that we believe we’ve raised the bar in comparison to our debut EP, “Deeper Shades Of Torment”. When it comes to lyrical context, this song is based around aliens impersonating humans/doppelgängers. We wanted this to portray a very 80’s thriller film vibe and there are other hints to this theme throughout the album like on the instrumental track ‘Dreamland’.

The influences on the album as a whole range all the way from Anthrax, Dio, Testament, Judas Priest and WASP, to Alter Bridge, Ghost, Enforcer and even smaller, underground bands such as The Wran or High Fade.

We truly believe that we’ve created a diverse, gripping, and engaging 21st century Heavy Metal record, and are dying to share with our fans what we’ve been working on...
