Salvatore Ganacci drops 'Duck! Duck! Duck!' as Duck King enters the ring

The Bosnian-Swedish artist and in-game fighter returns to South Town with a 135BPM gaming disco cut, out now on all streaming platforms.

The FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves soundtrack keeps growing as Salvatore Ganacci, who is also a playable character, returns with 'Duck! Duck! Duck!', a 135BPM gaming disco powerhouse landing just hours after Duck King steps into the roster. Groovy, action-packed and built on cutting-edge gaming soundscape design, it is a record that hits as hard as the fighter it arrives alongside.

Duck King, South Town's dancing king and a Fatal Fury staple since the 1991 original, joined the roster on 27 August as the second DLC fighter of Season 3, his first playable appearance in a mainline entry in decades. In the world of the game, the two go back years: it is Duck King who tips Salvatore off about the King of Fighters tournament in the first place, and Duck King who taught him the freestyle martial arts he fights with. 'Duck! Duck! Duck!' is the record that connection was always heading towards.

Musically, it does what Ganacci does best. The track moves at 135BPM with a disco backbone and a relentless forward push, layering game-native sound design into a club record built for impact on both sides of the screen. It is uncompromising, unserious in all the right places, and completely his own.

Duck! Duck! Duck!' follows Salvatore's own 'Work Hard Not Smart' and 'Berserk', and extends a run of records written from inside the game. Ganacci fights in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves as a playable character, with his own moveset, his own story in South Town, and his own history with Duck King, and that is what separates this from a standard tie-in. The first two tracks brought his sound into the game, and this one comes back out of it.

With each new release, the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves soundtrack continues to raise the bar, pairing the franchise's genre-defining gameplay with cutting-edge music from the world's top electronic artists. 'Duck! Duck! Duck!' now lands as its latest heavy hitter, arriving in step with one of the most requested character returns in the series' history.

'Duck! Duck! Duck!' by Salvatore Ganacci is available on all streaming platforms.
