Retro-Progressive Rockers Welcome Inside The Brain Premiere New Video for "The Baptist Preacher"! *New Video Link*

SLAM Magazine has the premiere of The Baptist Preacher, the new video and track from Welcome Inside The Brain's new album Queen Of Day Flies, out now on Tonzonen Records! Compared to acts like King Crimson or David Bowie, the band quickly managed to built up a fanbase of listeners around the globe with their debutCelebrate The Depression (2017).

On the new album Queen Of Day Flies, the band impressively shows how to design progressive retro-rock with a lot of drive, and the video highlights a certain sense of humor by the band. The track The Baptist Preacher reveals a not yet very widespread art of combining the complexity and spirit of progressive rock with the energy and moods of retro-rock as we remember it from the 70s.

Founded in 2015, German Psychedelic Progressive quintet Welcome Inside The Brain released a self-titled EP in the same year, in an edition of 500 copies, which was sold out very quickly. The five-piece then played numerous shows and supported Banned From Utopia, Frank Zappa's original band, in autumn 2016. In spring of 2017 the band went on tour in France. Afterwards they played club shows with big names like Birth Control or Siena Root. In autumn 2017 Welcome Inside The Brain shot their first music video for the song Snails On Speed/ Buddha In A Bottle, a track that is featured on the first album Celebrate The Depression which was released at the end of 2017 by Nasoni Records.

Select reviews compared the band to artists like King Crimson or David Bowie. Numerous radio stations in Canada, USA, UK and Poland aired the album intensely, and even German national radio Deutschlandfunk Kultur highlighted the yet young band. Meanwhile Welcome Inside The Brain are booked at festivals like Fusion, Burg Herzberg, Magnificient Music Festival etc.

The new album Queen Of The Day Flies will be due out on Tonzonen Records on May 24, 2019 on all formats.
