Rhodes releases "Turning Back Around"

Introducing Rhodes – an exciting young British singer-songwriter, who recently appeared at the BBC3 Glastonbury Festival and earned massive support from Radio 1, 6Music and XFM among others. According to Planet Notion, Rhodes is capable of “haunting harmonies and prevalent guitar melodies steering you into a reverie of raw, honest creation”. His brand-new track ‘Turning Back Around’ perfectly paves the way into his immensely emotional musical world.

Fulfilling the potential shown on his first three EPs ‘Raise Your Love’, ‘Morning’ and ‘Home’, the new song ‘Turning Back Around’ is released March 13. The track heralds the ‘Turning Back Around’ EP scheduled for April 4, as well as Rhodes’ eagerly anticipated debut album and sees him reunited with James Kenosha (Dry The River, Pulled Apart By Horses), who worked with him on his acclaimed debut EP ‘Raise Your Love’, to co-produce the new song.

Rhodes says of ‘Turning Back Around’, “I wrote the song about running away from something and wanted the momentum of the percussion to feel like I was never turning back”, giving a glimpse into his growing maturity as a songwriter. The upcoming track also displays a fuller and more powerful sound as the backdrop to his distinctive vocals, which Indie Shuffle describes as: “A beautifully anthemic single that reaches stratospheric heights, daring the listener to dream big with him”.

This year, Rhodes is building on what has been an incredible 18 months – not only touring with music’s finest (including Ben Howard, London Grammar and Sam Smith), but selling out his last two tours completely. Rhodes heads out for six further shows in the UK this March including his biggest concert to date at London’s Village Underground on the 10th.
