Rising Scottish Talent Ros T drops new single ahead of album FFO: LF System, TEED

Rising electronic producer Ros T continues to tease his debut album Teach Me with sentimental new single and wistful earworm Golden Arrow.

The Scottish producer has already built considerable hype around the album with a slew of well-received singles. Traversing a range of sounds from gospel-induced catharsis to orchestral electronic pop, tracks such as Heartbeat Follows saw support from BBC Radio 1 and additions to the KISS Bliss playlists while Don’t Be Scared and With You caught the attention of BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing. His most recent single Teach Me marked a milestone moment when it landed no.1 on the Itunes Electronic Chart. The full album will journey through love, grief, and musical evolution with the heart and emotion of an artist shaped by the wild and verdant spaces of his home on the Scottish Isle of Skye.

Constantly valuing failure over regret in everything he does, Ros T has thrown himself into new sounds and experiences since learning to DJ at the age of 15 with the mantra “Anything creative, I’m in.” Initially juggling an opportunistic acting career with his budding music trajectory, Ros T’s steady output has cemented him as one to watch with consistent tastemaker support from the likes of Annie Mac, Fatboy Slim Purple Disco Machine, Camelphat, The Martinez Brothers, BBC Introducing Scotland, and more. His refreshing mix of genres makes for an eclectic live set and has featured in performances across Ibiza, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Wales and beyond, including festivals like Ketflix and Pills or Westival, where he played with Dan Shake and Peach.

Growing up listening to Stevie Wonder, Etta James, Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, Ros T forges a vibrant meld of heaving soul and wayward funk with electronic influences such as George Fitzgerald, Groove Armada, and Fred Again. His mother’s introduction to soul music as a young boy solidified a passion to pursue music and can be found on releases such as Out The Fire (At The Hotel), a 2021 collaboration with Franky Rizardo and take on Eunice Collin’s classic that amassed over 10M Spotify streams, radio love from Pete Tong and Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, and DJ support from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Clapton, Low Steppa, and Oliver Heldens.

Currently gearing up to support Ewan Mcvicar on his Wee Toon tour on the Isle of Skye on the 12th of December, Ros T continues to look towards his debut album with this latest earworm.
