Rock Werchter: Turnstile & Massive Attack join the RW27 lineup!
We’re very proud to announce that Massive Attack and Turnstile have been added to the Rock Werchter 2027 lineup on Thursday 1 July! Massive Attack will headline the opening day of RW27. Hip-hop, soul, reggae, dub, post-punk and electronica blend with social engagement and activism. A Massive Attack concert is an experience! On the same day, Turnstile will bring their pure energy and intense live show to the Festivalpark. The hardcore band has become a real phenomenon in recent years. Two acts not to be missed!
Massive Attack remains as relevant as ever and has been charting its own course for almost four decades. The British group laid the foundations for trip-hop and went on to become one of the most influential acts of its generation. "Teardrop", "Unfinished Sympathy", "Angel", "Inertia Creeps" and "Risingson" are timeless tracks that still sound just as fresh and distinctive today. Massive Attack also have a rock-solid reputation for their live performances. With powerful messages and an uncompromising artistic vision, Massive Attack turns every performance into a statement.
With their explosive energy, intense live shows and a unique blend of hardcore, punk, alternative rock and electronic influences, Turnstile have become one of the most innovative bands on the contemporary alternative music scene. With 'NEVER ENOUGH' (2025), Turnstile continued to develop their versatile sound, proving that hardcore can be intense, accessible and groundbreaking all at once. With an open-minded view of the world and an indomitable drive to move forward, the band continues to reinvent itself.
Previously announced acts include Muse (Friday 2 July), Sam Fender (Saturday 3 July), Tame Impala (Sunday 4 July), SOMBR (Sunday 4 July) and Angèle (Sunday 4 July). More acts for Rock Werchter 2027 to be announced soon.
