Her debut album, Los Ángeles (Universal), featuring a repertoire selected from the flamenco songbook, was a concept album, dedicated to Death, and an attempt to renew the genre from a traditional perspective. The release of “Malamente”, (preceded by “Brillo”, her collaboration on J Balvin’s song, a week before) was a turning point on Rosalía’s career.
