Ruby The Hatchet announce European tour and complete work on upcoming album

Philadelphia's premiere psych rock band RUBY THE HATCHET have just announced their first ever European tour, as well as completing work on their third studio album, which will be released via Tee Pee Records later this year.

The tour will kick off at Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands, alongside the likes of Baroness, Coven, Chelsea Wolfe, as well as label mates Joy and Harsh Toke, plus they'll be stopping off at Desertfest, Berlin. Joining RUBY THE HATCHET on the road will be The Well.

Of the upcoming tour vocalist, Jillian Taylor, commented: "Our maiden voyage to Europe is going to be one for the books! Getting overseas, to areas where we have so many die-hard fans, has been a long time coming. We can't wait to meet these people and bring the energy and experience of our live show. There's so much excitement behind this tour for us, and with a new album at our heels this summer we hope this is the first of many European journeys."

RUBY THE HATCHET recently announced that work has been completed for their third studio album, which was recorded in 2016 in a studio that the band constructed from the ground up, in order to shape the record's sounds exactly as they pleased. The as yet unnamed album will be the follow up to Valley of the Snake, which was released in 2015 to wide critical acclaim, with The Obelisk calling it "crisp, clear and melodic while still offering a satisfying if deceptive sonic heft."
