Sam Feldt, Justin Jesso, Parson James releases "Lonely Tonight"
Sam Feldt’s new single is called 'Lonely Tonight'. The Dutch DJ and producer recorded the track with American singer-songwriters Justin Jesso and Parson James. Sam Feldt’s album Time After Time will be released next Friday, on May 23.
On the track, Sam Feldt blends his signature Future Tropical production with the raw vocals of Justin Jesso and Parson James. Sam: “We created something that works both on festival stages and in those quiet moments when you're trying to find peace in solitude. Lonely Tonight is about that universal struggle we all face - learning to be comfortable in our own company without feeling lonely."
Lonely Tonight came from a conversation Justin, Parson, and Sam had about that strange paradox they live as artists. Sam: “One minute you're on stage with thousands of people screaming your name, feeling this incredible connection, and the next, you're alone in a hotel room, scrolling through messages from people who know your music but not necessarily you.”
It's been a long-time goal of Sam to work with Justin and Parson separately, so having them both on a track with him is a dream come true. Sam: “I've always been impressed by their performances. They're super talented, both in the studio and on stage. Seeing them become friends during the Kygo tour and watching their chemistry grow made this collab feel like it was meant to be.”
Sam Feldt’s new album Time After Time will be released on May 23. Sam: “As an artist, my music has always reflected my journey in life. Beyond music, Sam continues his commitment to sustainability through the Heartfeldt Foundation. In 2025, the foundation is expanding its impact through a developing collaboration with the United Nations on Sustainable Development Goals initiatives, bringing together music and global environmental action.
