Sarcator Unleash Music Video for New Single “In Search Of Oblivion” from Upcoming Album "The Ones We Follow"

Swedish metal force SARCATOR has released a video clip for their new single “In Search Of Oblivion,” offering another glimpse into their much-awaited fourth studio album, The Ones We Follow, due October 30, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music. Following the album’s title track, the new single reveals a more melodic and atmospheric side of the band’s evolving sound.

Dark, hypnotic and deeply introspective, “In Search Of Oblivion” explores obsession, self-destruction and transformation. Built around haunting melodies, massive hooks and cinematic tension, the track showcases SARCATOR's evolution beyond extreme metal into darker and more atmospheric territory.

Mateo Tervonen (guitar/vocals) comments:

“This would be the power-ballad of the record. Guitar work very inspired by Danzig-ballads and drumming and groove by 90s / Bob Rock era Metallica. Some soft passages in this gives it more of a Sisters of Mercy / The Cure type of vibe. The words in this song is there to give the listener a sense of empowerment, like an Arena Rock-song should do. The fun thing about this song is that it's the only song on the record that was intentionally made to be a pompous and bombastic Metal song, but also the most ”ballad” sounding song simultaneously.”
