Scyther Release A New Video For The Single "Leavin'Burden"

Italian metal act Scyther and Superbia Music Management are glad to announce the release of a new video for "Leavin'Burden", last single taken from their album "Black Stone Wall" out last year. Inside the track we find Alessia Scolletti (Temperance, Era) as guest. "Leavin'Burden" was recorded, egineered, mixed and mastered by Michele Guaitoli from The Groove Factory Studio.

About the new single the band says: "About the new single the band says: "Scyther, as all the bands around the world, had to face the Covid-19 pandemic. This was (and, unfortunately, still is) an unexpected and tough enemy coming at a bad time. We were ready to get into the path that should have been our springboard to reach the next level in the music industry thanks to our hard work in self-planning our social marketing campaign. Moreover, we were ready to promise our fans a rich season of concerts, where playing a custom setlist that was all around 'Black Stone Wall' should have been the priority, but unfortunately, we had to change our plans. Of course, this situation have had consequences in some of our programs, such as the delayed released of the official video from 'Merciless God' and the compulsory stop in composing some new stuff for our next discographic project. With the release of our next single 'Leavin' Burden' we are going to definitely close the chapter on 'Black Stone Wall' and leave all we spoke about early, behind. We decided to close the book by giving you a ballad, an intense, bittersweet track, where a moment of great difficulty and sadness can lead to a liberation of the soul to rediscover a happiness that had been subdued and set aside. This song is an invite to find the courage to get rid of those so-called 'toxic' relationships, the ones that make you feel bad, that create anxiety, anger or frustration. Everyone could experience these kind of relationships, regardless of gender. So we thought that making a collab with Alessia Scolletti (Temperance, Era) could help us to reinforce the meaning of the lyrics; by adding a strong, powerful, female voice, everyone can empathize with the concept. We wish all the listeners to give a positive turning point to their life, cutting all the bridges with all the people who make us suffer and prevent us the freedom to be ourselves".
