Sentimental new video for Belgian producer Jennifur

Belgian producer Jennifur has released the video for his debut single “This Is Not What We Came For”. The clip was shot in Brussels and built around a simple, striking concept: a fixed camera placed in the passenger seat of a car - a quietly powerful visual statement that mirrors the song’s themes of movement, change, and unplanned moments that end up defining us.

After inviting people via social media to participate, the video captures different individuals getting in and out of the car, while time, light, and landscapes continuously change. The result is a single, flowing journey shaped by real encounters and unplanned moments

“This Is Not What We Came For” reflects on moments that weren’t planned but prove to be defining—on movement, transition, and the tension between holding on and moving forward. The video mirrors this idea by keeping everything in motion, without a fixed destination.

The clip was directed by Loïc Meulenberg, a longtime friend of Jennifur (Hector Devriendt), adding an intimate layer to the project. Together, they frame the car ride as a space of transition: moving toward the unknown while leaving the familiar behind
