shndō (producer of Justin Bieber “Peaches”) joins Dim Mak with “HARIKĒN”

Dim Mak welcomes Dominican producer shndō (producer of Justin Bieber “Peaches” and Cardi B “Never Give Up”) with a fire fusion of experimental Breakbeat, Dark House, and rhythmic Hip Hop vocals on latest single “HARIKĒN.”

shndō has produced alongside massive pop and rap acts - in addition to Justin Bieber and Cardi B, he’s worked with Poo Bear, Chris Brown, Ozuna, Lupe Fiasco, Galantis, Stephen Marley and many more. He is 6X GRAMMY nominated for his production credits, and now he’s harnessing that success to focus more on his artist project.

shndō showcases his mastery in crafting mesmerizing beats with the release of his latest track, “HARIKĒN.” Aptly named after the English translation of “hurricane,” the song draws inspiration from the essence of that word, and exudes an undeniable sense of urgency. shndō’s celebrated talent lies in harnessing the power of vibrations, the very foundation of sound. With “HARIKĒN,” he skillfully evokes an urgent “evacuation” vibe, beckoning listeners to take action. The song’s infectious rhythms, innovative sound design, and seamless fusion of diverse genres create a dynamic and exhilarating listening experience.

On the making of the track, shndō shares; "This song basically started with the two chords that you hear in the intro. My goal was to work on something with a Uk breakbeat bounce to it - which then sorta morphed into more of a Miami bass kind of sound & then I just threw in a house drop to switch things up a bit.”

shndō’s passion for music production began at age 13 while living in the Dominican Republic. At 22, he decided to fully commit to his music, collaborating with notable producers and artists in Los Angeles, CA, including Epik Beats, Tariq Beats, Wallis Lane, and more. These collaborations honed his skills and fueled his pursuit of greatness. Influenced by artists like Avicii, Skrillex, and Major Lazer, shndō developed a unique style that led him to produce hits such as Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” and work with Cardi B, Chris Brown, and others. Now focusing on his solo project as “shndō,” he continues to make waves with his exceptional productions and dedication to musical excellence.
