Single out now: ADÉLA "Nicole Kidman"

ADÉLA continues her rapid rise as one of pop’s biggest breakout stars, with “Nicole Kidman” becoming the latest global phenomenon from her debut album PRIMA, out now via Capitol Records.

Originally released alongside the album, “Nicole Kidman” has surged to #3 on the Global Spotify Chart, becoming ADÉLA’s second single to reach the global Top 5. Her breakthrough hit “Ain’t In LA” remains close behind at #5, giving the 22-year-old artist two simultaneous Top 5 global hits.

The explosive growth of “Nicole Kidman” has been fuelled by a global trend on TikTok, quickly translating into huge streaming numbers. The track is now generating more than 3 million streams per day, as audiences around the world continue to discover the song.

Following this unexpected acceleration, both “Nicole Kidman” and “Ain’t In LA” are now being worked globally at radio, further building on the extraordinary momentum surrounding ADÉLA and PRIMA.

The track arrived alongside a striking music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis, filled with references to some of Nicole Kidman’s most iconic roles, including Eyes Wide Shut, Moulin Rouge, Birth* and *Babygirl, as well as her now-famous AMC Theatres commercial.

The inspiration came after ADÉLA attended a Golden Globes event and found herself embracing old-school Hollywood glamour.

“I got all glammed up, put into a dress, had my hair done, and I looked really good. My hair was super bouncy, and my corset was so tight that I thought, ‘I feel like Nicole Kidman right now’,” ADÉLA recalls. “I actually watched Eyes Wide Shut, and became obsessed with her. To me, she is the movie star.”

“Nicole Kidman” is one of the many different sides of ADÉLA showcased on PRIMA. Co-executive produced by Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady, the debut album sees her move beyond the hard-hitting industrial pop of her first EP, The Provocateur, to create a more complete picture of herself as a 22-year-old woman and artist.

“I mixed the hard with the soft, the vulnerable with the swag of it all, and the muscular beats with the feminine energy,” ADÉLA explains. “I did exactly what I wanted to.”

That vision is translating into a genuine global breakthrough. “Ain’t In LA” gave ADÉLA her first Billboard Hot 100 entry, while PRIMA has established her as one of the most talked-about new names in international pop. Now, the spontaneous rise of “Nicole Kidman” gives the album another major global hit.

The success comes as ADÉLA takes PRIMA on the road, following sold-out debut performances in London, New York and Los Angeles. Her first North American headline tour sold out within minutes, with a sold-out UK and European headline tour to follow in 2027.

With two songs simultaneously inside Spotify’s Global Top 5, millions of daily streams and two singles now being worked at radio worldwide, ADÉLA’s PRIMA era is only getting bigger.
