Single out now: Marshmello & Cameron Whitcomb "Hollow"

GRAMMY Award-nominated artist and producer Marshmello joins forces with award-winning singer-songwriter Cameron Whitcomb on an energetic and engaging new single entitled “Hollow” out now. The song only continues to further magnify the genre bending artist’s impact on country music and culture.

After a series of high-profile collaborations, Marshmello has perfected his pure alchemy of country and electronic music, and this hybrid instantly fuels “Hollow.” Equally suited to a sundown set during Stagecoach or the Sahara Tent long after dark, the track layers Cameron’s soulful delivery in between shimmering neon synths and pulsating four-on-the-floor beat-craft. Turning on a dime, an intimate verse gives way to the luminous refrain, “When the light goes hollow and burns away tomorrow, at least I’ll always have tonight with you.” All the makings a dancefloor banger and a country radio hit at the same time.

It also arrives on the heels of the fan favorite “Another Drink” featuring Kelsea Ballerini which reached a new peak on the Hot 100 this week where it continues to climb.. Right out of the gate, the intoxicating collab gathered tens of millions of streams in addition to picking up acclaim from Backstage Country, Stage Right Secrets, and Music Talkers who praised, “Country music's crossover moment shows no signs of slowing down, and Marshmello is making sure he's right at the heart of it.” Meanwhile, People hailed the single as a “Summer Banger,” before noting, “The song captures a carefree — and newly single — summer night out.” However, Entertainment Focus summed it up best as “the song of the summer.”

“Another Drink” followed Marshmello’s collaboration with Thomas Rhett, “Where We Go,” which has already surpassed 18 million Spotify streams. The track continued Marshmello’s growing presence in country music, building on a run of releases including “Better Man Than Me” with Hudson Westbrook and “Holy Water” with Jelly Roll.

Marshmello first broke new ground in the genre with Kane Brown collaboration “Miles On It,” which became the first song ever to debut at No. 1 on both Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Songs and Top Country Songs charts.
