Following the release of her highly anticipated debut album Visitor, SIENNA SPIRO continues her extraordinary international breakthrough with new single “Great Expectation.” The track is already making a major impact across Europe, entering the Top 50 on Spotify in Belgium while currently sitting inside the Top 10 of the Official UK Singles Chart.

A moody soul-pop track built around SIENNA’s show-stopping vocals, “Great Expectation” combines a delicate piano opening with sweeping orchestral flourishes and a soaring chorus. The song captures one of Visitor’s central themes: the fragile balance between hope and disappointment, and the expectations we create around the people we love.

Inspired by a period SIENNA spent living in New York, “Great Expectation” was born from waiting for someone who repeatedly promised to come and see her, but never did. What began as a song about one person gradually became something more universal: a reflection on whether expectation can be beautiful in itself, or whether it simply leaves us vulnerable to disappointment.

The accompanying music video reflects the song’s timeless character, placing SIENNA in a cinematic setting inspired by classic variety shows and further highlighting the elegant visual world surrounding Visitor.

The momentum behind “Great Expectation” follows an exceptional run for the 20-year-old London-born singer-songwriter. Her music has already accumulated more than 1.2 billion global streams, while three previously released singles from Visitor simultaneously entered the Billboard Hot 100. “Die On This Hill” reached #19, “The Visitor” peaked at #43, and “You Stole The Show” reached #55.

Released via Capitol Records, Visitor is an elegant collision of rich soul, symphonic pop and emotionally direct songwriting. Executive produced by Omer Fedi (Sam Smith, SZA), the album was created with an acclaimed team including Blake Slatkin, Yakob and Michael Pollack, with orchestral contributions from Larry Gold and Academy Award winner Peter Rotter. Recording sessions took place at legendary studios including Electric Lady Studios in New York, Abbey Road Studios in London and Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
