Sixes Cancels Shows Due To Guitarist Being Placed In Medically-Induced Coma

California blackened sludge heathens SIXES have canceled all upcoming performances due to an unknown illness that has left guitarist Hannes Bogacs in a medically-induced coma.

The band has issued the following statement:

"Due to recent events, SIXES will be canceling all upcoming shows, including our appearance at Planet Mammoth Fest in Arizona. Our dear friend and guitarist Hannes Bogacs has fallen ill. On Feb. 9, Hannes was admitted to a hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is currently in a medically-induced coma and awaiting further tests to determine the cause of his illness. Our hearts and support go out to his family and loved ones. To all of our fans, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. We will keep you updated as details unfold."

In December, the band released the single "Misery Hag," which will be included on the band's upcoming sophomore album Cokesucker. No release date has been set With a twisted blend of black metal, sludge and stoner doom, SIXES released their debut album, Methistopheles, to critical acclaim in 2018, earning accolades from esteemed outlets Metal Injection, Invisible Oranges, The Obelisk, No Clean Singing and more.
