One of Yorkshire’s best-kept-secrets - SKYLIGHTS - are back with the colossal new single “Fever”. “Fever” is the sound of a festival-ready banger arriving with impact. A band who have more than proven their aptitude for nailing those big outdoor shows alongside fellow Yorkshire legends Shed Seven, Sherlocks and Pigeon Detectives; their latest single finds them ramping up the hype for a golden Summer to come and some of their biggest headline shows yet. “Sit back, kick back feeling fine, sipping on a beer in the summer time” urges vocalist Rob Scazz, clearly relishing the moment like that first cold pint in a festival field.
From its Billy Duffy (Cult) or John Squire (Stone Roses) tinted guitar lines to its Motorik drum chug, “Fever” is a feel-good, fuzzed-up, tub-thumping anthem designed for prime crowd reaction and destined to get it.
