Sooma : new video "Sale" out today!

Noise post-punk trio SOOMA's new record 'Drü' is set to release this May 3rd 2024 via Gluttony Records. Dark and poetic new video "Sale" blends hectic rythmes and otherwordly lyrics within this coherent and unique creative space of theirs.

French-Swiss indie rockers SOOMA's new album 'Drü' brings some fresh air to the noise and post-punk movements with proggy elements, grunge fragments and overflowing avant-garde imagination. 'Drü' like "three" in Swiss German, like three musicians, like third album. A pluralist meaning also referring to the band's linguistic and cultural particularity, rich and complex.

Say the band about new video "Sale":

"For this clip, we drew our inspiration from X-ray images. We wanted to bring to life these sterile clichés that allow us to see inside ourselves. A world only accessible thanks to the technical and scientific prowess of humanity. We also incorporated the infinitely large, space, in order to make the link between two invisible worlds that, in the end, bring everything together. Like several tracks on SOOMA's latest album, Sale is a tribute to the experience of love. An oneiric poem, a journey into the heart of the night. An awakening too, one of those slightly brutal ones, that throws us out of the illusion."

In late 2022, after a series of dates across Europe in support of metal project Zeal & Ardor, they are getting ready to release their third studio album 'Drü' which is entirely sung in French. The record arrives this May 3rd 2024 via Gluttony Records at the following formats: LP, streaming, download. It was recorded and mixed by Yannick Consaël. Mastering by Adrien Pallot at Chab Mastering studio. Artwork Yannick Consaël and Liv Packness.
