Stacey Kent’s Songs From Other Places Special Edition with 5 bonus tracks will be released on May 6th via Candid Records. The album includes 3 newly recorded songs: “Bésame Mucho”, “So Far Away”, “Memories Of You” – and 2 unreleased tracks “Three Little Birds” and “Lovely Day”.

Stacey Kent is a jazz singer in the mold of the greats, with a legion of fans worldwide, a host of honours and awards including a GRAMMY nomination, album sales more than 2 million, and Platinum, Double-Gold and Gold-selling albums that have reached a series of No. 1 chart positions during the span of her career.

Like many of us, Stacey spent the last year online, looking for ways to stay connected with the world outside. She landed on the idea of a collection of songs that gives musical expression to our collective desire to roam the world once again. This evolved into her new album on Candid Records, Songs From Other Places.

On May 6th, Stacey Kent will release a new version of the album Songs From Other Places by adding 5 bonus tracks, each expressing a feeling of nostalgia and separation (So Far Away), the memory of love (Bésame Mucho & Memories Of You) and comfort and hope (Three Little Birds & Lovely Day)

Stacey will tour the album across the UK and Europe in April and May, including 7 London dates at Ronnie Scott’s and an extensive tour in Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy & more.
