Stavroz drops new single 'Para Rio'
today Belgian quartet Stavroz unveil Para Rio. Para Rio is the second single from their forthcoming album Take A Seat, set for release October 17, 2025 via Moodfamily
The track carries the same cinematic atmosphere and hybrid sound the band is known for, yet feels like a gentle evolution: intimate, warm, and guided by guitar picking reminiscent of Khruangbin, enriched with subtle, nurturing horns.
Para Rio also holds a special meaning for the band. One of the members recently became a father, and the piece was written for his newborn daughter. That sense of vulnerability and love resonates in every note performed with the same care and tenderness as holding a baby for the very first time.
The result? Unmistakably Stavroz — hypnotic, layered, and immersive — but with just a little extra heart.
