Stiletto releases debut EP: "Stiletto - You Know...Like the Shoe. Or the Knife...We Don’t Know Yet".

Stiletto is a new melodic rock act emerging from Stockholm, Sweden, bringing together experienced musicians with a shared passion for powerful songwriting, strong melodies, and music that leaves a lasting impression.

Following their first single "Going Under" (released on 12th of June, 2026) and their second single "Leave It All Behind" (released on july 17th, 2026), they are now releasing their debut EP called "You Know...Like the Shoe. Or the Knife...We Don’t Know Yet.", on the 4th of september, 2026.

The band had this to say about the EP:

“So, I guess we should address the elephant in the room — the EP title. The short answer? We just thought it was funny. It was Alex who threw the name out during rehearsal after we’d been going back and forth with a bunch of overly serious titles. Everyone cracked up immediately, and the more we talked about it, the more it felt right. There’s always been that tongue-in-cheek side to Melodic Rock and AOR that we love — bands like Danger Danger with records like Screw It! that didn’t take themselves too seriously while still delivering huge hooks and killer songs. That spirit definitely inspired us here. Hopefully it gives people a laugh before they even press play, haha.

As for the music itself, we’re incredibly proud of this EP and can’t wait to bring these songs to the live stage. It’s a 6-track release that we’re putting out independently, and Tony has absolutely knocked it out of the park with the production. It sounds exactly the way we wanted — big choruses, huge guitars, soaring melodies, and that fun, energetic vibe we grew up loving about this style of music.”

About the band:

The band was formed by guitarist and songwriter Andi Sarandopoulos, known from the band Strykenine, after connecting with vocalist Noelle Barton. The chemistry between the two was immediate, and it quickly became clear that the collaboration had the potential to grow into something much bigger. With a clear musical vision and a strong creative drive, the foundation for Stiletto was set.

From the very beginning, drummer Henrik Remesaho (known from the band Strykenine) became an essential part of the project, helping shape the band’s dynamic sound. The lineup was soon completed by keyboardist Alex Zackrisson and bassist Tony Bakircioglu — both also recognized from Strykenine — creating a band built on chemistry, musicianship, and years of experience.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of melodic rock while adding their own modern edge, Stiletto aims to deliver songs that combine memorable hooks, emotional depth, and high-energy performances. Their focus is not only on strong melodies and polished production, but also on writing songs with meaning — music that resonates both musically and lyrically.

Coming from Sweden, a country long renowned for producing world-class rock and melodic music, the band is fully aware of the legacy they step into. Rather than simply following tradition, Stiletto embraces the challenge. They know the standard is high — and they have no intention of lowering it. With ambition, craftsmanship, and a determination to stand out, Stiletto is set to make their mark on the melodic rock scene.
