Stone shares 'STACK UP THE REASONS' last single before 'AUTONOMY' releases

Marking their return last year with their bold new chapter, Liverpudlian fourpiece STONE continue their return to their raw and direct essence with euphoric new single ‘STACK UP THE REASONS, their final release ahead of their second album ‘AUTONOMY’ released on 20th February via V2 Records.

New single ‘STACK UP THE REASONS’ showcases STONEs ease of combining explosive rock with an upbeat, alternative melody and raw, true-to-life lyrics. The song builds in intensity and euphoria, launching into an addictive and unanimously STONE chorus, that lyrically marks a momentous and life-affirming moment for the band. Lead vocalist and guitarist Fin Power says,

“I hadn’t written anything for ages before this song. We did a big sold-out European tour and we nearly broke up the band because of all the mounting pressures. We took a month off from each other and I had to go away and sort myself out. So, I cleaned up, quit drugs and alcohol and wrote this song, which is essentially an insult to myself. This is a massive turning point song within the album. It’s almost about getting told off by the band.”

STONE made their return last year releasing new singles ‘NEVER AGAIN’, ‘MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO’, and ‘SWEET HEROINE’. With their new album, the band were able to revel in the freedom they had to make the record they really wanted to create; a self-reflective and autonomous body of work that is an honest time capsule of life. Written during the aftermath of their first album, the band unified together to create their most collaborative, personal and real music yet - whilst learning to have fun again. The album can be pre-ordered here

STONE have built a loyal community with their fans through their wild and energy-driven live shows and their spontaneous, bursting at the seams house party performances. After a recent packed-out festival performance at Pukkelpop (and a post-show secret house party on a bus), last month they took their house parties on the road with four small sold-out shows in London, Newcastle, Manchester and Sheffield and a support tour with South Arcade. They recently announced a headline 10-date UK and European tour in April, kicking off in Liverpool on 2nd April and ending in Paris on 17th April, with a show at London’s Oslo on 8th April.
