Studio B Brings New Smash from Bobo Featuring Saddis and Lead Pipe with “Stash”
Barbados-based hit production house Studio B serves up a monster reggae hit from BoBo featuring Saddis and Lead Pipe with “Stash,” available worldwide from all major digital retailers on August 26, 2014 from FOX FUSE. With both clean and explicit versions, “Stash” fuses classic Caribbean reggae beats with West Coast (Cali reggae) guitar riffs, making for the perfect anthem for herbalists and reggae lovers everywhere. The smash is featured on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Hot Tracks chart during its week of release.
Barbadian singer and songwriter Damian “BoBo” Bowen initially made a name for himself in music as a songwriter, and first delved into reggae and dancehall as an artist, before getting his feet wet in calypso and soca, which are the more popular native sounds from his homeland. BoBo teams up with fellow Barbadian artists Osvaldo “Lead Pipe” Reid and Reshawn “Saddis” Ince, who are longtime collaborators and have penned hits for numerous soca stars over the years, including Patrice Roberts and Denise Belfon. This perfect union results in a reggae jam for the times and a sure hit for music fans at home and beyond.
Studio B and producers Darien Bailey and Kevin “Daddy Bubbles” Charles throw a curve ball from their usual soca fare with this reggae blockbuster, showcasing the diversity of culture and music that exist in the petite but rich island nation of Barbados.
