Substance first album titled "Waldosia"
SUBSTANCE is an Alternative Metal band that formed in 2010 and reunited in 2020.
The band consists of: Yannis Chatzigeorgiou (Vocals), Dimitris Tournoglou (Guitars), Costas Bertolis (Guitars), Alexandros Koronios (Keyboards), Stavros Spyropoulos (Bass), Phoivos Andriopoulos (Drums).
In the midst of quarantine, the production and recording of the band's first album titled "Waldosia" began, which will be released soon.
The band's influences are varied and this is reflected in the final sound result with melodies ranging in the spectrum of Alternative Metal, with a more symphonic and modern approach. The band's first live performance since reuniting was at Death Disco in March 2023, alongside Aliko Means Red, followed by another on the HolyWood Stage alongside Deus Culpa and Still Dusk. In October of the same year, the group appeared at the Piraeus Club Academy, along with Ganzi Gun and Still Dusk.
The official release of the band's first track titled "Bedlam" is a fact! This track comes from the debut album with the production, mixing and mastering of the track being done by the band's bassist Stavros Spyropoulos in his personal home studio.
