Summer Breeze - March starts with new name

The month of March started off with new names for Summer Breeze 2017:

Betraying The Martyrs: BETRAYING THE MARTYRS will play SUMMER BREEZE 2017. Let us all welcome this metalcore/deathcore entity made flesh!

The French and English members of the band state their home base is the City of Lights. And the long trip from Paris to Dinkelsbühl will certainly pay off, as there will be hordes of fans waiting for the band led by Aaron Matts. With the new album 'Resilient' under their belts, the six musicians have many minutes of fresh material to display. A little djent extravaganza here, some wonderfully melodic clean singing there, a completely unexpected epic part around the corner and the full massive riff attack the next minute. BETRAYING THE MSRTYRS will make the earth quake in Dinkelsbühl.

Insomnium: Alert! Bittersweet melodies for millions over Dinkelsbühl! We hope we are not only making ourselves very happy with the following announcement, but all of you too! INSOMNIUM are coming back to Dinkelsbühl!

In terms of atmospheric density and melodic prowess, these Finns have been ahead of the game for years. It's hard to grasp the seeming ease with which theses guys come up with hit after hit, always setting standards in dark, atmospheric metal. Let them entrance you with really unbelievable, moving melody lines, a lot of atmosphere and the sporadic eruption of energy. INSOMNIUM are going to catapult you into another world if you let them! The band have got the right tools to do it; hits, hits and even more hits!

Finntroll: They have had their fans waiting for new material for a while now, considering their last album saw the light of day in 2013. We wanted to provide FINNTROLL with some extra motivation, so we booked them to play a special show at SUMMER BREEZE 2017!

Maybe with some fantastic reactions to their Dinkelsbühl show you and us together can make them go into the studio to work on a new album. And we can already predict those fantastic reactions, as FINNTROLL are going to play a one-off 20th anniversary show at SUMMER BREEZE that has never been witnessed before in this form. For our birthday party the Finns have come up with something really special , with concepts such as “guest musicians”, “cover versions”, “special light show”, “joiken” (please google it yourselves) and many others already being thrown around. So you can look forward to this exclusive event at SUMMER BREEZE in Dinkelsbühl. We hereby decree mandatory attendance!

Ensiferum: Viking metallers, rejoice! Finland's finest will come sailing to Dinkelsbühl: ENSIFERUM!

ENSIFERUM are undisputedly one of the best bands the viking metal scene has ever produced. It is true that their last album, 'One Man Army', is already two years old and their fans are thirsting for new material, but that's exactly what they are going to get in Dinkelsbühl. And if their previous albums are anything to go by, the new one should again contain enough first-class singalong hits to turn the SUMMER BREEZE show into an amazing gala. So clean your drinking horns and get your mead, oil your vocal cords and sharpen your inflatable swords: ENSIFERUM are calling to arms! In Dinkelsbühl, summer of 2017! At SUMMER BREEZE 2017!!!

Korn: They are considered pioneers of modern metal, having influenced countless bands, and in 2017 they'll be coming to SUMMER BREEZE for the very first time; KORN!

It is a well-known fact that the Californians have been playing in a league of their own since the beginning of their career. So we can all be curious as to which gimmicks KORN will present during their appearance in beautiful Dinkelsbühl. They certainly have enough hits for a triumphant show under their belts, and, in terms of visuals, Jonathan Davis and Co. have never spared expenses, so all open-minded, young-at-heart metalheads can look forward to an action-laden show. Since KORN have always appealed to fans of all musical directions and even manage to attract some old-school freaks, there is nothing in the way of a huge party in August 2017!
