Sunday,June- new double single «Come Back» / «Cinema»; sophomore album «Cinema» out on 06.11.!

The second release from Sunday,June’s second work is a double single that opens a door directly into the heart of the album. The twinned singles, «Come Back» and «Cinema», tell one story of separation and departure, but from two very different perspectives.

«Come Back» tells a story of longing, romanticizing the absence of a lost love, while «Cinema» tells a story of liberation through a breakup. To bring this dual narrative to life, the band partnered with Swiss film director Alex Schild, who envisioned the concept of dualism and brought it to the screen in a clip that encompasses both tracks, seamlessly blending the two perspectives. The double clip was shot on film and features Swiss actor Kacey Mottet Klein and French actress Mélodie Adda.

The band’s sophomore album «Cinema» will be released on November 6 via Irascible Records and Spinda Records. Produced by Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers), «Cinema» is a luminous record with deep emotional layers, traversing psychedelic rock, dream pop, and indie rock. An album steeped in nostalgia, self-discovery, the redemptive power of beauty, and the profound joy of playing together.
