SYML brings us single 'Careful'

SYML is gearing up for the release of his third studio album, Nobody Lives Here, which will be out on April 4, 2025. Ahead of the album, he shares his latest single, ‘Careful’, an introspective, hymn-like anthem carried by his signature falsetto.

About the song, SYML shares:

“Comparison is inevitable for us as humans, but it can be dangerous. I tend to be a competitive person, and that can make comparison destructive. As I grow older, I have a better perspective on what it means to have a job, be in relationships, and be in my body. Luckily, I’m surrounded by people who remind me that while these things help define me, they are not who I am. ‘Careful’ is a reminder to myself.”

To accompany the release, SYML has shared an intimate live video, recorded on Vashon Island in Washington. In a rustic setting, he performs at his piano as sunlight filters through the cracks of the wooden sanctuary.
