Taylor Swift releases ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’
The re-recorded version of Taylor Swift’s fifth studio ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is finally here! The release follows exactly nine years to the day after the original 1989 was released in 2014. All 13 original songs are featured on the album, including the three original bonus tracks “Wonderland,” “New Romantics” and “You Are In Love.”
Plus, ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ features five previously unreleased Vault tracks, written by Taylor long ago but ultimately scrapped from her albums’ tracklists. Her highly anticipated Vault tracks are “Slut!", “Is It Over Now?,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Say Don’t Go,” and “Suburban Legends”.
‘1989’ was originally released in 2014, and marked her transition from country-pop to full pop music. It includes hits such as “Shake it Off,” “Style” and “Blank Space". The album earned a total of 10 Grammy nominations at the time, with Swift taking home three trophies for Album Of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Music Video for “Bad Blood.”
