TDJ Announces Worldwide SPF INFINI TOUR

Today, hot on the heels of her ambitious new SPF INFINI: GENESIS project, which intertwines a narrative-driven music video, a flawless DJ Mix, and a 36-track compilation of all original music, Montreal-based artist and trance visionary TDJ announces the SPF INFINI TOUR, adding 26 international dates to her action-packed touring schedule.

While TDJ may portray an icy character on screen throughout the SPF INFINI series, her white-hot stage presence and innate talent for connecting with IRL crowds will see her continue to trot the globe on tour into the new year and beyond. The SPF INFINI TOUR will include stops at both EDSea and EDC Orlando, Dreamstate in Southern California, the 99 Scott warehouse in New York City, and a homecoming performance at Montreal’s SAT before TDJ heads to the UK, Europe, and East Asia. A certified mainstay for Boiler Room, the streaming giant has also enlisted her talents once again (the fifth time in two years) for a sold-out show in Mexico City, where she’ll perform alongside Bambii, Clara Cuvé, and more.

The SPF INFINI TOUR will also call on a number of the artists who contributed to the GENESIS compilation, totaling 30 different supporting acts. The compilation, curated by TDJ and out now on all streaming platforms, features all original, previously unreleased music from a swath of exciting up-and-comers like SofTT, Panteros666, fknsyd, Yoshiko, 1luu, and many more. While rooted in trance and nourished with a hefty serving of Y2K vibes, the sound of SPF INFINI: GENESIS reaches further into adjacent realms of electro, techno, hardcore, and emo, further expanding the breadth of the TDJ universe.

SPF INFINI: GENESIS, the final spin of TDJ’s experimental audio/visual saga, explores the profound disconnection between humans and their environment. While past SPF INFINI episodes unraveled cinematic, algorithm-obsessed, Black Mirror-esque scenes in the desert and jungle, GENESIS embarks on a journey to the heavens on a private plane, focusing on the series’ recurring characters and new guests. Several plotlines take place over the course of 83 minutes, including an airborne dance with a dragon, an impromptu sky-dive, and mile-high love stories, with stops along the way that explore the many facets of TDJ’s rich aesthetic, visually and sonically.

In the ethereal realm of dance music, TDJ emerges as a luminary, crafting a sonic universe that marries melancholy with bittersweet euphoria. Co-signed by tastemakers such as Pitchfork, Beatportal, DJ Mag, and Wonderland, Geneviève Ryan-Martel, aka TDJ, blends years of composing guitar ballads and experimenting with electronic production. She’s influenced by the rush of trance classics as well as the raw emotion of emo. As a producer, songwriter, singer, DJ, and star of her own videos, Ryan-Martel holds the scepter of her own destiny as an artist, invoking elaborate, nostalgic concepts that manifest audibly, visually, and within.
