Temple Of Love Southern Gothic Rockers Release New Track “Last Call;” All Proceeds To Be Donated To Children’s Music Program

Texas southern goth quintet TEMPLE OF LOVE is proud to announce the release of their second single, “Last Call,” inspired by their late friend who succumbed to cancer in 2019.

After the band’s vocalist, Suzy Bravo, found out her friend and former Suzy Bravo & the Soul Revue bandmate Tom Dyer was losing his battle with cancer, she and members of all of his bands got together to play their hearts out at one last show in a crowded room of people dancing, crying, laughing, shouting, applauding, and reminiscing.

Bravo comments: “‘Last Call’ is all about that night. It’s a song about dancing, singing, performing, and celebrating our love for music one last time. The last party, the last shot, the last everything...and leaving this existential plane on our own terms while celebrating every damn minute of it as much as we can.”

All proceeds from the song will be donated to the High Voltage Music Program, an afterschool on-campus music program for kids, from the ages of 7-12 years old, in underserved communities in San Antonio.

Formed in Austin in 2018, TEMPLE OF LOVE was originally intended to be a recording project of husband-and-wife duo Steve Colca (Destroyer of Light) and Suzy Bravo (Witchcryer) before it took off with a life of its own after a 2019 demo garnered attention amongst the Central Texas scene.

While writing and recording were delayed due to the pandemic and a few line-up changes, TEMPLE OF LOVE is finally in the studio crafting their seven-track debut album with Roky Moon (Gwar, The Sword) at King Electric Studios in Austin.
