Ten City Release Official Remix Package Of 80's Classic 'That's The Way Love Is' Featuring Tall Paul, Nico De Andrea & Lee Foss

Ten City is one of House Music’s first truly international break through bands. They return after the incredible release of their fifth studio album with a specially curated remix package of arguably their biggest global hit ‘That’s The Way Love Is’, out on now Ultra Music.

1989 – The year that birthed the second summer of love, was a fortuitous time for Ten City, as they unleashed their own brand of House music, packed with love and positivity. In the process, they captured the imagination of the nation’s youth and transformed themselves into a household name.

Originally releasing the dance and soul-tinged single ‘That’s The way Love Is’ which reached #8 in the UK’s official top 40 and #1 in the USA's Dance Club Play chart, as well as having influence on pop culture long after it was released, showing Ten City’s impact and legacy. Now almost 25 years later and taken from their forthcoming album, ‘Judgement’ they release a brand-new remix package from some of clublands finest names.

The package contains three very diverse sounding productions. Tall Paul one of the UK’s best known and well-respected seminal DJs delivers the first mix. The DJ cut his teeth at the now legendary London club Turnmills and was one of the first big names to break through into the international DJ circuit. His remix is driving and pacey with a euphoric build and tension inducing drops, with a house music vibe all the way through, designed for the peak time dance floor.

Nico De Andrea delivers more of a progressive house sound, expansive and floaty but with pin sharp production. Nico is a DJ and producer from the South of France with a signature sound that is emotional and melancholic combined with Afro, House and Techno rhythms. Lee Foss is another iconic name in electronic music and part of Chicago’s great heritage of DJs. The man behind the ‘Hot Creations’ label, his mix is full of energy and has its own uplifting house vibe, utilising the vocals to maximum effect, think daytime pool party and bright summer days.

The Original ‘That’s The Way Love Is’ was taken from their debut album, ‘Foundation’ which was one of a small handful of house albums released in the late 1980’s, that are now regarded as classics of the genre.
