THE BEAUTIFUL GAME are a five piece alt-rock indie band from London composed of Jason Crowley on vocals, Lawrence Bonavia on Guitar, Steven Foxley on Guitar, Paul Jeffrey on Bass and Katie Padfield on Drums.

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME has a sound that manages to keep that old school Brit indie flame alive and kicking channelling the likes of The Stone Roses, The Libertines, Oasis and The Jam, but with their very own panache and unique spin on things blending together various genres and styles bringing a whole new vibe to the scene.

The five-piece create rousing melodies with life affirming lyrics and stadium worthy choruses making them a very exciting band.

“DRAWING BOARD” is stripped back, laid bare track full of emotion and sentiment. The story telling lyrics depict a tale of love and revisiting old memories and reliving them.The tune is slow and thought provoking, the emotion being ramped up further in the mid section with an impressive instrumental interlude featuring epic guitar riffs and thrashing drums, taking the song to its conclusion. The vibe is very cinematic and feels powerful despite the more gentile approach.

“It’s a song about a northern soul, a brown eyed girl. When she walked into the bar, she wrote these words for me.”

‘DRAWING BOARD’ was written by Jason Crowley, Lawrence Bonavia, Steven Foxley, Paul Jeffrey and Katie Padfield collectively and the track was Produced and Mixed by Beau Blaise at Regents Studios in London.
