The Brave sign to UNFD, reveal track via Easter Egg email

UNFD is excited to announce the singing of Brisbane devastators The Brave. The band have revealed new track "Searchlights" as the first taste of what's to come. On Easter Monday, UNFD released "Searchlights" on Soundcloud and YouTube as a song without an author through an email blast, and before long the hashtag #UNFDEasterEgg made its way around the Internet. The idea was to give everyone a little gift - straight from the UNFD Easter Bunny direct to the fans - and "Searchlights" is available to download for free at this link.

"We’re beyond stoked on signing to UNFD" says vocalist Nathan Toussaint "When we started this band we came in with the intention just to play shows and cater to our creative sides to write music. We never thought that it would take us to the point of getting signed, let alone signed to a label like UNFD which has a roster full of bands that we look up to and draw inspiration from. We can’t wait to get on the road and see how far we can take our band and see what adventures await us”.

Brisbane natives The Brave came together in late 2013 with the goal of creating meaningful, melodic heavy music on their own terms. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, While She Sleeps and Underoath, their debut EP "Endless" swiftly hit the streets in mid-2014. From there, The Brave have been sharing stages with In Hearts Wake, Dream On Dreamer and Dance Gavin Dance, turning heads nationwide and attracting the attention of many fans along the way, including UNFD boss Luke Logemann who brought the band into the esteemed label’s roster alongside Northlane, Architects and Hands Like Houses. Look out for The Brave's debut album landing later this year.
