The Entertainment releases 'Singles Night' FFO Eels, Grandaddy & Sparklehorse

The Entertainment is Ben Hewerdine. In his music you might find echoes of Eels, Grandaddy and Sparklehorse. His first album, Romantic Comedy, was much lauded and received national airplay. On this wonderful second album, Singles Night, he takes a wry look at what it means to be single. Born in the pandemic, this a collection of 9 “singles” (and a theme tune) created in the time since. Melancholia has never been so toe tapping. The humour belies the heartache of any singleton.
