The Feather unveils new video and rework for 'Higher' !
‘Higher', with its light and airy dreamy pop track which slightly evokes the perception of time after our 30’s. This time that was once linear and invisible, is now evolving vertically, creating a feeling of vertigo and a sense of countdown before an inevitable fall.
First song written for the last The Feather album 'ROOM' (released early March) and first track composed only on synthesizers. Higher represents a turning point in Thomas Medard's songwriting, which is slowly heading towards to influences such as Panda Bear, Atlas Sound or Beach House.
The music video, directed by the animation studio Rapapawn (whose work was noticed on the latest Holy Fuck's album), increases the hypnotic character of ‘Higher’.
