The Howlers Release Deluxe Version Of Debut Album “What You've Got To Lose To Win It All”; Listen To New Cut “Gotta Go”
East London trio The Howlers follow the release of their debut album "What You’ve Got to Lose to Win It All", with the release of a deluxe version, out today featuring new single "Gotta Go". The release follows the news that the band hit the top 20 in the independent album chart. The album was produced by Black Honey and defined by resilience, friendship and unconditional love through unimaginable pain.
In the run-up to the release, the band released a string of singles that have seen them soundtracking BBC Match of the Day’s Goal of the Month and ITV Race Day, whilst picking up support from The Line of Best Fit, Clash, 1883 Magazine, Rolling Stone and Classic Rock Magazine all over Europe.
The band’s 250 Blood Records limited edition copies of the album on vinyl sold out in under 7 minutes, a success which prompted them to release the deluxe version, with tracks that didn’t quite make it onto the original album. Speaking about the decision, frontman Adam says: “As a band, we have always been a fan of the lost art of the ‘B-Side’ track, a lost art since the invention of Streaming platforms, so with this album, we wanted to give the fans something extra, that doesn't happen that often these days, so here’s a collection of songs that didn't quite make the main album, some early demos, and some tracks that you won't be able to hear anywhere else, a little something extra for our wonderful. We are an independent band whose debut album got to #15 here in the UK and various top 10’s across Europe, without our fans that wouldn’t have been possible”.
