The Macbeth Blackstar Groezrock 2015 competition kick’s off again!

For the 6th time in a row we bring you the famed band competition! Over the past years we've given many bands the opportunity to present themselves to their core audience on our stage at this event. This is your chance to win a slot for your band on the official Groezrock 2015 line up!

Sign your band up here www.macbeth/eu/groezrock before January 9th and show us that your band should be on the same bill as the most legendary bands such as Refused, Social Distortion, Millencolin, Against Me!, Atreyu, Comeback Kid, The Swellers and so on ...

A panel of music industry professionals will review all submissions and create a selection of 30 possible bands for the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar for Groezrock 2015 and 2 bands will be offered a golden ticket that secures them a slot in the Groezrock line up. These names will all be announced on January 26th.

The 30 bands that enter the 2nd round of the online competition will have to get as many people as possible to vote for them. This is where you have to show us how devoted your fans are and also this is where you get the impress us with your PR skills, your creativity and your knowledge on how to use your network! The more votes you get, the more chance you have of being invited to play our stage!

On February 13th, we will announce the 10 bands that gained the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar at the Groezrock Festival 2015!

We will also bring 3 main acts a day, 6 in total, and we are super stoked to reveal the first 3 headliners of the Macbeth stage powered by Blackstar for Friday May 1st: The Hell are undoubtedly one of the most controversial bands currently in the sights of the UK music scene. They labelled themselves as ‘the heaviest thing anyone’s ever going to hear’ and we can’t wait for them to proof so! Macbeth family artists Feed the Rhino will be the 8th act on our Friday bill. They’ve ripped many venues apart and promised us to rock the sh*t out of our stage. Our Headliner Obey The Brave catapulted to the top of the metalcore pack in less than two years and we are super excited that they accepted our invitation to come over and play our stage.

The main slots for saturday are TBC.

Notes:

• Submissions need to be entered before Jan 9th 2015
• Don’t make us like your “facebook” page to be able to listen to your music!
• The first selection of 30 bands will be announced January 26th.
• The voting period starts Feb. 2nd and closes Feb 17th at midnight.
• The bands that get offered a spot will be notified on Feb13th
• The winning bands will also be announced by Groezrock and will be added on all their promo material
• Groezrock day tickets are included for the artists only.
• The Backline will be provided by Blackstar amplification, it is not possible for bands to use their own backline
• Stage size 12m x 16m
• We will not cover for any expenses
• The 10 bands invited to play have no say in day or time
