The release date for “Retador” will be the 13th of September 2022 through Xtreem Music

RETADOR is a band that was officially born in June 2020 and formed by Rolo on guitar, Derlis on bass/vocals and JuanJolocaust on drums. These 3 musicians were also part of another band along with two other friends, but this band dissolves in October and its 3 members focus fully on shaping RETADOR, the following month Jofre joins the band as the second guitarist, Just in that same month Derlis moved away from the project considerably and left the formation, seeing Jofre's versatility and after a small test, there was no doubt about his ability to play the guitar and sing at the same time, with which the vacancy that Derlis left for the voice is immediately resolved, December arrives and the band amazingly begins to understand each other in a brutal way, what is cooked in the rehearsal room is pure dynamite, the search for a bassist becomes mandatory for the band to be able to continue advancing and underpin what is cooking there... January 2021 passes and it is not until March that the perfect bassist for RETADOR is found in the person of Migueli, with him, the circle is closed and ready to roll.

At the end of April 2021, it is decided that all that energy must be captured and made known as it may be and at the beginning of May RETADOR enters a studio to record a demo of 2 songs with which they can present themselves officially, one of them, "La Venda”, is transformed into a humble video clip, thinking that it is the best way to make yourself known by mixing image and sound. Around 7 months they exceed 1,000 views, in December they bet heavily on the band again, they check the specialized Metal studios in Spain and in February 2022 RETADOR go to Barcelona to Moontower Studios (where bands like Avulsed, Crisix or Destroyer 666 among others have worked) there they lock themselves up and they don't come out until they record 10 songs, the mastering is done in the Unisound Studio (Germany) by the hand of Dan Swanö himself and the album cover has been made by the well-known illustrator Jhon Quevedo Janssens...

In July 2002, RETADOR get signed to Xtreem Music for the release of their self-titled debut album “Retador” whose release date is set for mid-September.
