Slovakian experimental artist Urbanfailure presents "ShortCutsHarshMellow", a 20-track collection of noise, IDM, and industrial soundscapes. This album is not for the faint-hearted. It’s raw, fragmented, and unrelenting, drawing from live living room jam sessions and an array of chaotic recordings. If polished melodies and conventional sounds are what you’re after, this might not be for you.

Tracks like “Makita Pt 5,” “Loose Runner,” and “Mess” are snapshots of deconstruction and reinvention. Each piece is intense and unpredictable, pushing boundaries with harsh beats and jagged rhythms. Urbanfailure weaves dissonance and mechanical grooves into moments that feel unsettling yet captivating.

Recorded live in 2024, "ShortCutsHarshMellow" rejects compromise. Each track cuts straight to the core, leaving no room for detours or embellishments. The artwork by Vladimíra Pcolova mirrors the album’s raw energy, adding another layer to this striking release.

Urbanfailure once again challenges listeners with an unfiltered approach to experimental sound, delivering an album that refuses to sit quietly in the background.
