The Subs present new video for 'Bela Lugosi's Dead'

The new Subs music video, which was premiered today on Metal Magazine, is a delightful fusion of the band's signature humor and zaniness, amplified by a vivid, colourful aesthetic drawn from a quirky mix of old horror movies, deviant art, and fashion trends. True to their style, the Subs embrace fun and the unconventional, unafraid to venture into the realm of the grotesque. Bjorn Tagemose's role as director in this creative endeavor is to serve as a megaphone for the band's unique identity, respecting their essence rather than pushing them into a mould they don't belong in. Add to this equation a stellar team of visual creatives such as Tom Eerebout, Uber & Kosher, Florence Teerlinck and the result is a visual masterpiece that not only entertains but also celebrates the essence of the Subs in all their vibrant, offbeat glory.

The video comes a week after the release of single ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead', the final single from their upcoming EP 'Undead' set for release next week on Halloween, Oct the 31st.

‘If u want to look far ahead, you need to stand on the shoulders of giants’. And that is exactly what The Subs are doing on the new EP 'Undead' by creating modern rave versions of their favourite tunes. The idea started very spontaneously: with OGENN new in the band they wanted to hone their songwriting craft and explore their vocal capabilities. After all, the Beatles did start out as a cover band, didn't they?

Parallel to this, the band is working on a full length album of which this EP is the exercise book.
