The Wonder Years Go Lo-Fi On New Version Of "Wyatt's Song (Your Name)"; The Third Installment Of Their Intimate Burst & Decay Series Out On May 9

Philadelphia’s The Wonder Years share a stunning reimagining of “Wyatt’s Song (Your Name)”, a deeply personal track written by frontman Dan Campbell for his older son, Wyatt. The original is from their critically-acclaimed album "The Hum Goes On Forever", and the new version appears on "Burst & Decay Vol. III", out May 9 via Hopeless Records; and its emotional core shines through a stripped-back, lo-fi lens.

Anchored by a recording of Wyatt’s actual in-utero heartbeat acting as the track’s metronome, this rendition adds an even more intimate layer to an already heartfelt song.

Produced by Steve Evetts, "Burst & Decay Vol. III" continues the band’s tradition of reinvention with guest features from Ryland Heagy of Origami Angel, members of Sweet Pill and Knuckle Puck, and production highlights including the cinematic closer “Doors I Painted Shut.” The track finds its own standout moment thanks to vibrant vocals and guitarist Nick Steinborn's production prowess, proving that The Wonder Years can seamlessly venture into uncharted territory without ever missing a beat.
