Thunderblender releases first single "Movin on!" from upcoming LP Stillorgan

Taken from their upcoming LP 'Stillorgan', Thunderblender are proud to announce their latest single 'Moving On!' on W.E.R.F. Records. Thunderblender is a Brussels based trio led by Sam Comerford on tenor and bass saxophones, joined by Hendrik Lasure (SCHNTZL) on piano and Jens Bouttery (Hi Hawaii) on bass synths and drums.

Departing from Bouttery's cascading percussive architectonics, the listener immediately senses the track's urgency through Comerford's lively and escalating saxophone articulations which is propped up by Lasure's steady, progressive piano chords. The track's unfolding narrative is held together by this subtle balance between Bouttery's propulsive beats, Comerford's lyrical dexterity, and Lasure's measured piano articulations.

Like all good music, Thunderblender's 'Moving On!' is difficult to categorize, but it will certainly appeal to fans of Tim Berne's groove based sonic acrobatics.
