Thy Sanatorium announce debut Single “Torment” Out October 31
Anonymity and horror define the arrival of Thy Sanatorium, a new multi-national collective formed in 2025. Blending black metal with gothic and symphonic elements, the band will release their debut single “Torment” on October 31, 2025.
Led by vocalist Ra and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Aries, the line-up also features Nyx on guitar, Crux on bass and Pyxis on drums. Together they channel a mix of blackened aggression and gothic atmosphere, with a sound steeped in cinematic darkness.
“Torment” will be released across all streaming platforms, including the band’s official Bandcamp page, and will be accompanied by both an official music video and a lyric video. The single marks the first glimpse into the group’s vision: music that fuses extreme metal traditions with an unsettling, horror-driven aesthetic.
